The Truth as I See It: What Is IT?

©Copyright 1998 by Harvey Bigelsen, MD, USA
(Explore Issue: Volume 8, Number 6)

This issue marks the beginning of a new feature column for Explore! in which the renowned Dr. Harvey Bigelsen will share the truth of modern medicine and our inner and outer environment as he sees it with the readers of Explore! In issues to come he will discuss Isopathy and how it works, pollution and how it affects us, and other issues of interest to himself and the everyone who wishes to move in health and well-being into the 21st Century and our new millennium!

For those of you who do not know me, I have been involved in "Alternative Medicine" for over 20 + years. My search for more understanding, naturally led me to the works of Enderlein, Bechamp, Bernard, etc...I soon discovered that it was impossible to learn Isopathy by myself. I found other experienced practitioners and learned by apprenticeship. It was obvious early on, that this was not cookbook medicine. This was an art!

Several years ago, Chrystyne Jackson organized wonderful seminars, featuring Dr. Rau from the Paracelsus Klinik in Switzerland, to teach the philosophy of Enderlein and Biological Medicine. At rst, I noted Dr. Rau was having difculty getting participants to understand the use of these "unusual biological remedies. As these seminars continued, I noted that many physicians became frustrated because they were not getting the results that I and Dr. Rau knew were possible. Many were confused, even though these seminars were excellent. Recently, I attended an excellent seminar in Marion Massachusetts, presented by the Marion Foundation with the Paracelsus Klinik. This time there was a change. There were several U.S. speakers, that got "IT". They understood. The audience was more ne tuned and many of them were starting to understand.

What am I talking about? What do these speakers get, and some of the audience, and, yet, most of the audience did not get? Let me give an example of what I mean. On the nal afternoon, the speakers gathered as a panel of experts in order to give the audience "clinical pearls" and to answer questions. A discussion revolved around vaccinations. We all know vaccinates have been controversial and most of the audience was against them. A surgeon asked an interesting question. He operates on patients with infections with infectious diseases, and his hospital wants him to take the Hepatitis C vaccine yearly. A debate went on for several minutes over what this surgeon could do, or should do to protect himself. I t was at this point that I regretted not having given my opinion. I'm giving it right now.

This question goes to the heart of the philosophy and understanding of biological medicine. What would Claude Bernard, one of the "Godfathers" of this concept, have said? He probably would have injected the Hepatitis C virus into himself, or drank it and said, "Let's not waste our time on this foolish discussion of microbes, after all, The Microbe Is Nothing, The Terrain is All!" In order to get the wonderful results that can be obtained by the use of these very powerful remedies, one must totally immerse one's self in the paradigm of pleomorphism and terrain., The Microbe Is Nothing!!

I do not treat viruses, infections, candida, strep, etc. I use these remedies to treat terrain and the blood. If my patient's terrain improves, his blood is cleaner, more alive, etc., and his asthma or colitis disappears, that is only a result of improving the whole organism. Germs, classifying degenerative diseases with names as asthma, colitis, are only important if you are viewing disease in an Allopathic paradigm. To truly appreciate the greatness of Enderlein, and the magnicence of the symbiosis of man and nature, you must live a paradigm of the Terrain is All. If you mix apples and oranges, you will never get "IT". Allopathy and Isopathy are mutually opposing philosophies, and never the twain will meet. If you understand that, then you get "IT". Then , and only then, will you appreciate the wonders of Biological Medicine and Isopathy.

About the Author

Dr. Bigelsen is the rst medical doctor in history to practice Isopathy or Biological Medicine in North America. He is a trained MD and was a trauma surgeon in Vietnam. He helped to author the law that made Arizona Homeopathy what it is today. As the rst president of the Arizona Homeopathic Medical Board, he drafted guidelines and standards for the practice of "Holistic" Medicine that were precedent setting in United States History. He believes as a result of his successful political effort in Arizona, the Medical Establishment, under the guidance of Medicare, found him guilty of defrauding the United States Government and its taxpayers of $70.00. For this "grave" crime, he was banned from practicing his profession in the United States and its territories. He now works in "exile" and in freedom in Tijuana, Mexico at the Instituto de Medicina Biologica.

Dr. Bigelsen has requested of the editors of this journal that he be given a column to voice his views. We, the editors of Explore! Journal are proud to grant him this request. He has demonstrated that he has "Walked his walk," and therefore, he deserves the space to "Talk his talk". Dr. Bigelsen would like you, his readers, to send your intriguing questions to him c/o Joannie Dibler, P.O. Box 87356, Phoenix, Az 85080. The more questions you send him, the more he can answer. So please! Start them coming!
