SALUTE TO A GREAT LADY!
My heartiest congratulations to Chrystyne Jackson, one of the greatest ladies I know on the face of this Earth, on the 10th anniversary of her publication of Explore.
We understand what a great labor of love the publication is and has been, and the agonizing hours and work that have gone into it, to make it what it is today. We also realize that Chrystyne has done all this while fighting severe personal health problems, finances, you name it. The superb results and the heart and the dedication have been there for all to see. I'd like to now speak to Chrystyne directly.
Chrystyne, this world has been and is a better place for having you in it. You continually serve as an uplifting inspiration, as a cheerful voice warming the heart, and as one who is solidly dedicated to the uplifting and ennoblement of all humankind. I am deeply grateful to you for your many kindness and for publishing my papers as well as those of many other researchers.
It is a rare privilege and an inspiration to know you, to interact with you, and to watch the excellent work you always do. Together with your many friends and associates, all of us admire you and love you. You are one of those rare lights that make this old life a little brighter, more cheerful, and more human for everyone.
So along with so many others, I salute you for a difficult job exceedingly well done, and for enriching all our lives while doing it. And for just being "you".
You're simply the best.
Sincerely,
Tom Bearden
I established The Ohno Institute on Water and Health to bring to the attention of the public that more natural medical treatments need investigating to find answers to the rise in chronic and aging-related diseases. It is when I met Chrystyne Jackson that I became aware of her ability as a spokesperson for better healthcare and her tireless efforts to bring a system of natural health products to the public as an alternative to standard medications.
The outstanding contribution of Chrystyne Jackson in the field of Alternative Medicine needs to be more recognized by the health care community. Today, because of her work, we are more knowledgeable and better prepared to meet the needs of those seeking better health care and prevention. We thank her for recognizing our contribution by asking us to publish the findings of several of our studies in her Journal, Explore! for the Professional. I am sure there are many other health professionals who are also thankful for being allowed the opportunity to present their ideas through her Explore.

C. Jackson is many people in one: a successful publisher, a devoted scientist, an effective promoter, a clever organizer, a caring humanitarian, a sensitive manager, and, believe it or not, a talent scout. Most importantly, she is a genuine person with a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. Her Explore is only one reflection of these qualities. I am privileged to have a small part of this enterprise.

Chrystyne M. Jackson, is the lady who worked hard, and in spite of great difficulties, managed to obtain FDA approval of the Enderlein-SANUM-Pleomorphic remedies in our United States. This was a great accomplishment for her, our customers and their patients. At the same time, she managed several other growth companies with particular skills and effort.
A special mention must go to Chrystyne. She was able to build the Explore magazine, which now celebrates its 10-year anniversary of successful publication. A job well done, actually, several jobs well done. Keep up the good work, but also relax a bit in your semi-retirement.

For the Pleo-Team
I struggled over this, as most young people do. The idea of finding one word which neatly packages a person--especially a parent--it's absurd really. My obvious first step: consult the dictionary; let's see what Webster has to say.
The first word that came to mind was Driven. With all of the amazing feats my mother has accomplished; from refusing to stay within the confines of a wheelchair, to constant battling with the FDA-a mere two examples, among many other (smaller as well as larger) accomplishments. Driven seemed like a good word; at first.
Upon further reflection, I tried to find a word that described a loving person, in its purest form. I found Benevolent, all of my life I have watched the example of my mother giving of herself to help others. Perhaps to the point of what most would deem "unprofessional" or at least "beyond the call of duty." If only they could be witness to the countless sleepless nights of working on projects; be it the import of homeopathic products that would heal the sick, the distribution of remarkable studies and articles that educate doctors and patients alike, or merely helping me with my 5th grade science project (a study of the influence of light on plankton and their habits-I won first prize.)
As neither of these completely encapsulated the being that is Chrystyne Jackson, I search further and decided upon Crusader. This seemed to be quite an all-encompassing word, considering the above examples. But unfortunately, the word crusader brings to mind many unfortunates such as Joan of Arc-and I certainly wouldn't want to see all efforts come to such a bad end. No, Crusader simply wouldn't do.
Then it came to me, as if by divine inspiration. My final word, the perfect word. The one word that describes her, encapsulates her, packages her neatly. A more beautiful word than I had ever imagined ... Mother.
