Q: With what other companies have you been involved?
A: I started doing seminars for HEEL around 1979, and developed an expertise in complex homeopathy. I taught for them for about seven years. I also was a speaker for Pascoe for approximately five years. In addition, I was the founder of the Austrian Society of Electro Acupuncture according to Voll (EAV). I have been the President for 15 years. I believe Mr. Kehlbeck from Sanum approached me to instruct for them due to my experience with Sanum and the presentations I was giving for the other companies. I had been giving my own seminars for about ten years, up until about 1992
Q: Was there a predominance of conditions, which you treated?
A: Pediatrics and GI, and therefore the diet, chronic disorders of adults-mainly allergies, but really all types of conditions. For the first ten years of practice I worked on developing the diet. I also worked with neural therapy according toHuneke, a General Practitioner. Dr. Dosch, also a GP, wrote much about neural therapy, but it was always according to what Dr. Huneke had developed. Dr. Dosch was a GP and gave seminars in the U.S.
Q: What is the significance of biological Sanum Therapy to you?
A: Always the mycobacterium part, the Isopathy-treating the tuberculinic weakness and also the immune biological remedies. The importance of Sanum therapy is that we use homeopathic remedies containing the non-pathogenic parts of the cyclogenic cycles of the body's own particles. That's Isopathy. We have a symbiotic relationship with these microbes and exist with the basic parts. Therefore, the treatment can be so effective because it is with the very parts within us.
Q: Did you ever treat patients as a conventionally trained M.D?
A: No, I never treated like a conventional MD. Treatment was always a holistic nature. School was only to recognize pathology, but for me I always wanted to know the real reason.
Q: What were the initial therapies you used?
A: I used the diet, neural therapy and EAV. I met and learned some EAV from Dr. Voll. However, it was mostly practice and experience.
Q: How is this perspective different from what many doctors use?
A: As a doctor you should accept what the patients complain of, but always assess to find out what was before and what is behind the scenery of complaints.
Q: What is the Sanum difference in treating?
A: You don't need to treat symptoms, because first, we have to change the milieu and second we treat with the body's own particles. And, we must always use the diet.
The most important thing is to treat first the mucous membranes of the intestine. This is done to restore the production of IgA and it is accomplished by using the diet I developed over some years early in my practice. The IgA is the most important part for treating acute and chronic disorders, but the acute presentation is but a part of the chronic condition, a periodic reaction of the chronic condition. The IgA is the most abundant and most important part of the immune process of the mucous membranes. And, this is through the gut.
Q: How do we treat with the body's own parts?
A: We recommend the sequential therapy according to the four steps. In this process we use the Isopathic/Homeopathic Sanum therapy. The isopathy is the body's parts. That is, it is the basic forms of the microbes, which support the physiological aspects of the body. For example, we use candida to treat candida imbalances within the body. However, Candida is our friend because it binds the heavy metals. So, we must find out why the candida is there andout of balance in the first place before we work to bring it back into balance. What I recommend is the 5:2 sequence.
Q: What is the 5:2 sequence?
A: The 5:2 sequence is like this. Initially we recommend that the patient change the diet, using the Diet according to Werthmann. The most significant part is to eliminate the primary antigens: hen's eggs and cow's milk products, including baked goods that have these ingredients within them. (The general diet has been included below.) Then we treat according to the four steps.
Step 1.Milieu...
...of the intestines
*Use Alkala to support the alkaline regulation in the body
...of the micro bacterial environment
*Use Sanuvispotency accord of + Lactic acid (to affect Mucor racemosus circulatory congestion conditions in the body)
*Use Citrokehlpotency accord of + Citric acid (to affect Aspergillus niger tuberculinic conditions of the body)
...of the intestinal mucous membrane and the associated atrophy
Use the Diet without the primary antigens to increase the immunoglobulin A (IgA) of the mucous membranes.
Step 2. Penicillium remedies for 7 10 days
*Use one of the three Penicillium remedies depending upon the condition. Other Isopathic remedies may be used at this time as well depending upon the condition.
Note: Step 1 and Step 2 are used simultaneously
Then after the ten days...stop Step 2. Switch to:
Step 3 Basics: Mucokehl in the morning and Nigersan in the evening, Monday through Friday. This is the implementation of the 5:2 sequence. Muc and Nig are used five days and the Step 2 remedies are used for two days, generally a Monday through Friday, Saturday/Sunday. This is done for weeks to months. (Sankombi is a blend of Muc and Nig and may be used in place of Muc and Nig separately, depending upon the condition.) If the patient is a predominant "Mucokehl" (congestive) person then use the Mucokehl in the morning and at noon. If the person is a predominant "Nigersan" (tuberculinic) person then use the Nigersan at noon and night. Generally the dose is 10 drops with each application.
Step 4: Additionals Immunobiological (bacterial) remedies, plus Zinc, Selenium, Sanukehls, and Vitamins. The immunobiological remedies: homeopathic bacterial and Sanukehls, stimulate the immune response and the other products support the body processes.
This Four Step sequence is implemented for some weeks to months as the body milieu changes and begins to support a healthy intestinal mucous membrane and normal levels of symbiotic microbes.
Q: How does this building up of the mucous membrane support the body?
A: By building up the mucous membrane IgA is increased and the intestinal membrane no longer allows large molecules to pass through, i.e. Leaky Gut Syndrome. With leaky gut, there is the IgE histamine reaction from the Mast cell degranulation. The consequence is outbreak of colitis, asthma, and neurodermatitis. Also, E. coli is a normal microbe of the gut. It is needed to produce the Omega 3 unsaturated fatty acids. When the GI tract is disturbed, there is a disruption of the fatty acid conversion. 5% of the population lacks this normal E. coli process and thus will have problems. In addition, we need the mucous membrane for the support of the Peyer's Patches, the immune support of the gut. If the mucous membrane is damaged then the immune response of the Peyer's Patches is deficient.
Q: In Step 2 do we always use the Penicillium remedies first?
A: Nearly always. Sometimes I will start with Grif or Usti, but then follow into the standard therapy after the cause has been determined. As mentioned, other remedies may be used depending upon the condition. But nearly always there will be an association with the Penicillium remedies.
Q: If someone is allergic to the antibiotic does s/he need to be concerned about the use of the Penicillium remedies?
A: No. Penicillin is an acid produced from the Penicillium fungi. The Isopathic products are derived from the fungus itself, and not from what it produces.
Q: Do you use many additional therapies?
A: You don't need a lot of additional therapies such as vitamins, because we are treating the reason.
Q: We have frequent questions about treating Herpes zoster. How would this therapy apply to this condition?
A: In Austria I use injections, so if you can inject, then inject, but otherwise you may treat topically. First of all, there are three occurrences of herpes:
- Coming herpespain, but no redness or blisters
- Pains and blisters, redness of the skin
- Pain without blisters and persists for years.
In all cases apply the same Four Step treatment-using Pleo Grif X 7 days, dabbing the blisters, and/or affected areas of the skin. Always combine with the Penicillium stoloniferum or Stolonikehl if it is available. I have found Stolonikehl to be very good in reducing pain. Then, change to Muc/Nig Monday through Friday and on Sat/Sun use the Grif and the Stolonikehl if needed. This is done for some weeks, usually. I have had good success with this therapy.
