The aim of this article is to present you with an analysis of the main ideas behind the ‘architecture of medicine’ developed by Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg, M.D., the founder of Homotoxicology, when developing his antihomotoxic remedies.
This is a fundamental concept in understanding the pharmacodynamics of medicines and in the selection of treatments.
Information: The Key to Life
All processes that occur in nature are regulated by different forms of information: molecular (chemical), energetic (physical), etc.
DNA is truly the ‘fingerprint of life’; it is present in all cells and specifically regulates their individual structure and function. The information contained in DNA is made up of four chemical bases
(G-C-U-T) which, through combinations and recombinations, permit an almost infinite variety of information.
The sequence of these bases corresponds to the genetic code, which in turn determines all the characteristics of all creatures that have ever existed, exist or will exist.
In music, information is given in eight notes, the successive arrangements and re-arrangements of which provide all the forms of music that exist and which may be generated in the future.
Like music, the genetic code is an arrangement of information blocks, with great diversity in this information.
Dr. Reckeweg was a musician, he read music, composed music and certainly must have found in it the basic principle for constructing antihomotoxic remedies. Here the information is given in ‘Pharmacological Groups’ (PG) of plant, mineral, catalyst and immunomodulator origin, which are formed by arranging and rearranging the basic therapeutic elements in each group. These elements are repeated in different combinations and different homoeopathic potencies, generating a variety of possibilities and therefore, like music or the genome, combinations of information that allow different actions and organic tropisms.
