A True New Dimension in Health and Medicine: The ONDAMED Experience Part III

Part II of this two-part series appeared in Explore !, volume 12, number 6.

Of all the medical equipment I have purchased, I have never felt the need to get trained on the equipment myself.  That is, until we decided to purchase the ONDAMED for use in my practice.  “Dr. Buttar, you have a problem with your prostate!”  That is not something that any man wants to hear, especially, if you don’t have any symptoms of any problems with your prostate.  I looked back at the nurse practitioner who was training my nurse and I, and in a very protective tone, I proceeded to defend my prostate.  “I don’t have any problems with my prostate!”  The nurse practitioner didn’t seem to hear me and continued with her training.  A few minutes later, while checking Nina, my nurse who had accompanied my fiancée and me for the training on the ONDAMED, the nurse practitioner again, in a matter of fact tone stated, “Nina, you have a problem with your lungs!”  Nina turned to me, and mumbled under her breath while rolling her eyes, “I don’t have any damn problems with my lungs!”  What the heck were we doing here spending all this money on a box with a few green LCD numbers displayed, which was telling us we had all these medical problems which we obviously did not have.  Should I have gone with my second instinct and bought the truck I needed for my farm instead of this “box” with the pretty green lights?  Hell, it didn’t even come with automatic windows.

Three days later, I started having a pressure sensation upon voiding, along with polyuria and hesitancy on initiating a urinary stream.  I had developed prostatitis.  The next day, my nurse developed a serious cough with fever.  I listened to her lungs and she had severe coarse breath sounds with rhonchi in her right lung fields.  She had pneumonia.  Did that damn machine cause these problems?  That was the first thought that went through my mind.  But obviously, it had not.  This was our first real introduction to the incredible power of the machine we refer to as the ONDAMED.  We played with it for the next 10 days or so, doing all the things that the nurse practitioner had told us NOT to do.  For instance, we identified seven microorganisms on my initial treatment, five of which were parasites.  I was told NOT to treat more than two microorganisms at a time.  So naturally, I treated all seven at one setting.  That evening, as most people experience after the first few sessions, I was exhausted, but I did not experience all the negative things that I had been warned about.  Next morning was great, until about 9:30 am.  Then slowly, a wave of nausea swept over me, followed by discomfort in my abdomen, followed by severe cramping and pain associated with recurrent bowel movements which lasted until 11:00 pm that evening, over 13 hours after the symptoms had started.  Next day, it started again and although not as intense, lasted until about 7:00 pm.  The machine is even more powerful than the company has stated.
