Membrane Protection Factor Colamine: A necessity for the nervous system

Many diseases, especially those of the nervous system, begin with damage to the cell membrane. Important membrane functions may be affected, such as the structural maintenance of cellular and subcellular units, as well as a controlled ion transfer. The resulting damage may affect the entire cellular and extracellular environment. However, membrane damages can be prevented by the so-called Membrane Protection Factors, of which Colamine is one of the most important. However, even if the body is capable of manufacturing its own Colamine, additional supplementation may be necessary during stressful situations in order to activate the endogenous repair mechanisms of the body. If Colamine is supplied in combination with Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium salts, this will add further positive effects to the restitution process towards homeostatic balance.

Homeopathics Vs Antibiotics
by Frank J. King Jr., N.D., D.C.

A short overview of the "germ" versus the "internal ecology" theories in modern medicine is followed by a closer look at the common Otitis Media, or ear infection, whether acute or chronic. Dr. King describes the regular, most common allopathic approach to this infection with antibiotics and its (at most, partial ) effectiveness, versus the Homeopathic management of both acute and chronic Otitis Media.

Author Bio: FRANK J. KING Jr., N.D., D.C., is a nationally recognized researcher and noted author of homeopathy. Dr. King lectures extensively about the successful application of homeopathy. He is founder and director of King Bio Pharmaceuticals Inc., a registered homeopathic manufacturing company dedicated to the development of natural health care products free from alcohol, sugar, and yeast.

The Anti-Alzheimerís Disease Diet, Nutrients, and Chelation Treatment.
by Dr. Morton Walker

Three modalities of intervention with Alzheimerís disease are discussed:

  1. Chelation therapy : Is the intravenous and/or oral administration of specific amino acids and other nutrients to pull metallic ions out of the cellular fluids, the cells, the lymphatics and all other tissues where they are accumulated.
  2. The anti-Alzheimer's disease diet: The extensive use of nutritional oils such as EFA's (Omega-three and Omega-six fatty acids).
  3. Brain Boosters to be added to the above diet: "Smart Nutrients" and "Smart Drugs" are discussed and listed.

Author Bio: DR. MORTON WALKER works fulltime as a professional medical journalist, specializing in wholistic medicine, orthomolecular nutrition, and alternative methods of healing. He is the author of 63 published health books and over 1650 published clinical journal articles and magazine articles.
